How To Save With Coupons - In a Big Way!

Stay at home moms often need every penny they can save just to get by, so free stuff is always welcome. You can actually save with coupons and refunding to the point where you can get high dollar brand name stuff for free, and even have excess merchandise to sell for extra income!

The way to do this is by finding the deals that offer free products and making the most of them by getting extra coupons, combining "buy one get one free" coupons with similar in-store sales, or making the triple play of matching a coupon with a sale then following up on a rebate offer to get free stuff!

You can usually find great coupons in the Sunday paper, and if you can get a two-for-one paper deal you can double your coupons. Ask friends and neighbors for their coupon and ad sections if they don't use theirs. Stay at home moms know that there is no such thing as to much free stuff! If you don't need it all, donate it to a shelter or sell it online for extra cash!

You can also go online and purchase coupons for pennies - just make sure they are from a legitimate source! Counterfeit coupons are a huge problem and stores will turn down any coupon that even looks like it might not be above board. Shop only reputable online coupon sites, and make sure the stores you shop at will accept computer generated coupons before buying a lot!

Often coupons for free stuff can be obtained by mail from the manufacturer if you buy a defective product. If your case of soda has an empty can, your 24 count box of snack chip pouches only has 23, or your frozen dinner is missing a portion, the manufacturer wants to know.

Give them a call and tell them what happened (have the product in front of you when you call) or write a polite letter enclosing the UPC from the defective product. They will appreciate the heads-up for quality control, and will probably want to thank you for your help by sending you some extra coupons for free merchandise!

Once you start coupon clipping in earnest, you will need to be able to organize your coupons neatly so you can find them instantly. Being able to recognize the items when they come up for sale and quickly match the sale to a coupon is the way to save big! You will want to keep an eye on expiration dates as well, and combine coupons to save the most money.

You can learn how to play the coupon / rebate game by learning from others who have been doing it for years! There are multiple forums and websites dedicated to passing on info on the latest and greatest freebies out there, and even inexpensive services that can give you a sneak peek at upcoming deals. Plenty of people save with coupons every year, and you can be one of them!
